Entelechy works in the following distinctly different and important
areas of advocacy - they are:
Citizen Advocacy
One to one Citizen Advocacy partnerships are the bringing together
of a person with a learning disability and a volunteer citizen advocate.
The citizen advocates role is to speak up for their partner who
may have difficulty in speaking up for themselves. Citizen advocates
are ordinary members of their community with no special qualifications
- but with common sense and a willingness to promote their partners
rights as if they were their own.

User Involvement (Self Advocacy)
Involving people with learning disabilities in deciding how their
services are shaped is vital and high on the agenda. Entelechy works
with two user involvement groups- they are:
