User Involvement

Involving people with learning disabilities in deciding how their services are shaped is vital and high on both local and national agendas. Entelechy's skills and experience of working with people in arts projects who have unconventional ways of communicating have provided a powerful springboard in supporting people to have their concerns and aspirations about the day to day issues heard, and in influencing policy decisions affecting their lives and the lives of their peers.

Entelechy has established and continues to support the Lewisham Speaking Up Group to contribute to the work of the Lewisham Learning Disability Partnership Board. Entelechy is also working with residential service provider Nexus to support residents to express their views and attitudes about the quality of service that they receive.
