Different Abilities
Entelechy projects are developed to enable people to contribute their imaginations, interests, experiences and passions in equal ways.
Many Entelechy participants have had experiences of being kept apart from their peers and others in their communities. This may have been in segregated schools, long-stay hospitals or day care provision.
The lives of many people who have complex disabilities are characterised by ‘invisibility’. Their lives and experience remain hidden from most people in their neighbourhoods.
Entelechy workshops, projects and performance events create new contexts for people to meet and become valued and contributing members of their communities.
