Ambient workshops involve:
  • A celebration of human experience and perception that is tactile, sensory, non-verbal, and spontaneous.
  • In-depth knowledge of physical intelligence, creating spontaneous choreographies.
  • Conversation; open to everybody
  • The body in the city and the rural landscape
  • Different ways of experiencing time
  • Being alone in the company of others; being with other people; being recognised.
  • Creating spaces alert and nourishing to the senses
 
The following Entelechy projects have been established from sensory work and informed by the encounters and connections between artists and people with complex disabilities:

Between Two Worlds
National training events at the RFH. Sensory intelligence workshops for actors, dancers, support staff, physiotherapists, and professionals working across these areas

Training and arts research projects working with people with challenging needs

Ambient Jam
Fortnightly music and movement improvisation events for people with complex needs and sensory impairments ·

Incredible Journeys
Intensive arts projects involving a journey, site specific installations in different spaces and places, for young people, including those with complex needs.
