"A Saturday, I was going back (to Darenth Park) in the evening, six o'clock. I kept out five hours. When I got fed up sitting where the bridge is, I'd thought I'd go for a walk. I walked from Battersea, I think Albert Bridge, Chelsea Bridge, Lambeth Bridge. I got to Westminster. A man coming up. he said, 'I'm watching my old friend'....He said, 'Want any help?' I said, 'in a way. I live up Battersea' He said I live up that way. I got home by four. My mother, I think she got upset. Albert come round, took me back up to the hospital six o'clock."
