Rediscovering
Our Histories was a three year project exploring ways in which people
with learning disabilities could record and share their experiences
and histories.
The project produced a training pack with Pavillion, 'Rediscovering
Ourselves'. which examines ways in which adults with learning disabilities
can recover, record and share parts of their life histories.
'Rediscovering Ourselves' is the result of a three year Department
of Health funded research and development programme, 'Rediscovering
our Histories'.
"This is a substantial resource, that should become an essential
component in the training strategy of any group or organisation
involved in providing services for adults with learning difficulties."
