Entelechy Arts will be working with Lewisham Speaking Up to explore the role creativity and the arts can play in helping people with learning disabilities and autism have their voices heard.
Over recent months, we’ve been working in partnership with Lewisham Speaking Up and their lived-experience representatives to explore how creativity can support advocacy, communication and participation in decision-making. The People’s Parliament on 18 September is the culmination of this partnership.
As part of the day, Entelechy Arts will be leading creative workshops together with our disabled community, giving people the opportunity to explore these ideas through making, music and creative activity. There will also be guest speakers from Heart n Soul, followed by an open mic with art, improvisation and music. We’d love to see you there!
