Our projects
We produce cultural programmes, created by and for the communities we work with, namely people aged 65+, those labelled with profound and multiple disabilities, and those living in care home environments. Through these programmes, our members play an active and visible role in the creative life of their communities. You can read more about our projects below.
Meet Me...
Art, Choir, DanceMeet Me… is an award-winning arts programme for adults aged 65+. It grew out of a simple question shared by Entelechy Arts and partner organisation The Albany with senior managers from our local authority London Borough of Lewisham:
“What if older people had the opportunity to go to an arts centre instead of a day centre?”

Ambient jam
Ambient Jam is a unique dance improvisation programme arising from long term collaborations with people labelled with profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD). In these sessions, our members and our artists develop ways of communication that are predominantly non-verbal, sensory, mindful, spontaneous and both emotionally subtle and vibrant.

Glorious Age
Glorious Age is Entelechy Arts’ theatre company, a collective of people aged 65+ who create artistic projects and performances which are courageous, beautiful, joyful and risk-taking.

Walking Through Walls
Music, Art, Poetry, Dance, TheatreWalking through Walls is a series of projects that nurtures and showcases the creativity of older people living in care homes. Entelechy Arts artists work in collaboration with residents, their families and staff, and a treasure trove of amazing stories is uncovered using words, music, poetry, theatre, tactile art and dance.
